That second shot is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful rose! I hope you are having a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteLovely colored glass shadows, Sylvia!
ReplyDeleteThe rose is indeed beautiful.
Love the quotations you shared today.
Hope you have a fun weekend!
Your table scape is outstanding, the blue stemware and glass providing a rich and colorful shadow! The brass 'branch' and leaves winds around like a snake. The rose is perfect as we await the arrival and departure of winter and the new growth of Spring. All nice captures, as always!
ReplyDeleteYou know how I love your colored glass shadows, and these are my favorite cobalt blue color. I'd love to sit at that table and have a glass of wine, sitting in the sun. \
ReplyDeleteYour quotes hit home today, too.
You always find interesting shadows to share. I love the Seneca quote now if only I could learn to live it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that first shot!!! the shadows are wonderful, and it's a comforting scene. happy SSS to you Sylvia. and have a great weekend too.
ReplyDeleteHi Sylvia! I’m so happy to be here after my accident ;)

Blogtrotter Two is around Scandola. Fabulous! Enjoy and have a great weekend!
Another fun header! It's always more than a double treat to stoop by here. I missed seeing you on ABC Weds posts.
ReplyDeleteIf no one picks up hosting SSS, I will still post my shadows as I have done for so many years. I do have an 'email subscribe' on my blog, so if you want automatic notification of my SSS posts, sign up for that. I don't post everyday, usually twice a week. If you visit me, I will surely visit you (but we have to leave comments so that we know we were by).
Have a great weekend!
Hello Sylvia! Is that an iron rose, or is it painted? whatever the case - it is absolutely breathtaking!! Hope you enjoy your weekend as well my dear!
ReplyDeleteLovely blue glass shadows, but the winner for me is that single twig of leaves which looks as if it is some fragment from legend! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteare you or your buddies going to pick up the shadow shot sunday meme too? linked in for the first time today and saw she's giving it up!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely trio. What is it about blue glass that instigates possessiveness in us? I have quite a collection too.
ReplyDeleteThe Seneca quote both you and I need to take to heart and just enjoy each day as far as we can.
Hugs . . . Arija
