Evening, Wisdom and Beauty and a Request

Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them,
but I can look up and see the beauty, believe in them and try to follow
where they lead.

I learned tonight that my youngest daughter has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I would so appreciate your prayers and good thoughts for her and my family. It's been a difficult new year for us.
If you have made mistakes...there is always another chance for you...you may
have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call "failure"
is not the falling down, but the staying down.

  9. Oh Sylvia -- I am winging my good thoughts to you and your daughter. So many times your beautiful pictures and quotes have lifted my mood -- I hope I can return some of the Karma.

And I know for sure that diagnosis doesn't mean what it used to -- and I am sure she will come through it well (betting that she inherits her mother's positive attitude and fighting spirit!)
