Click on the link to go to the Our World site and sign up!! http://ourworldtuesdaymeme.blogspot.com/ To help me appreciate the fact that it isn't cold enough to snow again, I decided to show you a bit of my world when it is covered with snow! Take note of the expression on the seagulls face and you'll see the general response to snow in the northwest! Have a wonderful, beautiful week! Winter is nature's way of saying, "Up yours." Did Robert Byrne really say that, haha! good on him!! Love the winter images to help me keep cool Sylvia, merci beaucoup!
ReplyDeleteThat is indeed a lot of snow! Love the quotes!!
ReplyDeletegreat photos and I love this quote To shorten winter, borrow some money due in spring.. LOL
ReplyDeletevery cute. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow collage, Sylvia... Every time I think it is too warm to snow here, we get more cold weather!!!! We can't relax until about the middle of April...
ReplyDeleteWe are home from our 2nd trip is a month--and both of us have colds.. Yuk! Guess it will be REST for this upcoming week for both of us.
Hugs,
Betsy
Ha ha -- I love that gull. (I wonder why he doesn't fly south with us other snowbirds ;>)...oh I know, because then he wouldn't get back to the PNW in time to enjoy the beautiful spring. (Not that I'm speaking personally or anything!)
ReplyDeleteI feel for the seagull huddled in the cold. The snow is pretty in pictures but too close for comfort. We had a snowfall that lasted a several hours a few days ago. It soon melted but at this very moment I am sitting at the computer and watching a very cold wind bend trees outside my window. Mother Nature will not be pushed into early spring this year.
ReplyDeleteOh Sylvia, the expression on the seagulls face is amazing!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week :)
Winter sure is pretty but it will be nice to see flowers soon.
ReplyDeleteWonderful winter shots. I can feel the cold.
ReplyDeleteThe seagull's expression is great. Pretty snow shots.
ReplyDeleteGreat collage!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteGood quotes :-)
ReplyDeleteNo more white stuff for us too I hope.
Oh, my! I bet you are glad it isn't snowing! The photos are lovely. Poor seagull!
ReplyDeleteYour world looks beautiful covered in snow, but I think I agree with the seagull when it comes to that white stuff.
ReplyDeleteI love those beautiful pictures with a beautiful atsmósfera winter light delicious, exquisite mosaic. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder, as we're in our snowiest month (April is our second-snowiest). But I do like the snow, and these photos too. I hope you and Sam have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteHi Sylvia, I love the quotes! And the look on the seagulls face is very much like mine when I see snow. I love it in photos though, your snow is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love the look on the seagull's face, Sylvia. I'm betting that seagull's name is Robert Byrne.
ReplyDeleteYour world looks the way our probably should but doesn't. It isn't warm here, though. It's above freezing, however, with plenty of sunshine, so we can't complain.

My son’s children have really enjoyed your snow this year. It looks so pretty in the pictures. genie
ReplyDeleteGlad for you it doesn't look like that now. You're probably watching the crocus bloom.
ReplyDeleteThese are just incredible!
ReplyDeleteVogel had a clever way of shortening winter! In these parts, we long to shorten the summer:(
ReplyDeletebrrr
ReplyDeletebeautifully captured!
About now we'll take precipitation in any for and it looks like maybe we will get it.
ReplyDeleteHey Sylvia, that looks really cold.
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get to over 80 this week. Too warm too soon. First snake sighting reported out in the woods.
Wow! That's a thick volume of snow! We need your melted snow to water our fields!
ReplyDeleteBut on the other hand, love the wintry white photos!
The sea gull seems to be utterly disappointed. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteWonderful snow shots! I do love winter...
ReplyDeleteWish the world was as beautiful as you show it Sylvia.
ReplyDeleteCostas
I have to agree - the gull does not look best pleased at all!
ReplyDeleteNice set of pictures to remind me of snow.

Great post Sylvia. Love the quotes!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful 'white' mosaic! And what a contrast to our winter... it's the hottest and driest in the last 80 years! If it doesn't rain soon, this year will be hell!
ReplyDeletecant wait for spring !
ReplyDeletehave a great sunny day
