An early morning walk is a blessing for the whole day. Henry David Thoreau
Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished. Lao Tzu
There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature - the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after the winter. Rachel Carson
OK you and Henry David have just provided the nudge I need to get started again on my morning walk routine -- I've really let it slip this summer.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Sylvia... I don't usually get up early--but when I do, I love it... The Thoreau quote is SUPER.

Love your sunset photos! Haven't heard the name Rachel Carson recently, but I remember when her book came out...certain people became very angry with her that she dared question our treatment of the environment. I guess we had crazies then, too. But not as bad as now, I don't think.
ReplyDeleteWow Sylvia! Great images and lovely words!!
