As we wait for Fall to arrive in Seattle, I've been looking back over the past year from the magnificent Space Needle to our beautiful spring, the lengthy summer and the breathless beauty of our sunsets and Mt. Rainier -- regardless of the season! Hope you enjoy! Have a wonderful week!!

Happiness is like a butterfly.
The more you chase it, the more it eludes you.
But if you turn your attention to other things,
It comes and sits softly on your shoulder.
  Henry David Thoreau

  3. Henry Thoreau was a creative thinker who conveyed the art of happiness so well in that quote. Concentrating on Seattle sunsets goes a long way in inspiring those good feelings. :)

  31. Beautiful collage Sylvia, Mt. Rainier is spectacular. I don't even know how you manage these group shots, I'm such a technophobe!

  32. I can see a nice skyline in those pictures as well.

The funny thing about taking the pictures from the street was that taxis kept stopping and seeing if I needed a lift - almost nobody walks anywhere in the commercial part of town - and especially not in the heat of the day! "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" I suppose!
