  1. Um Sam Schnauzer, it's raining here in the Southern Hemisphere as well and as cats we're not moving either! Thanks for visiting our post today: I, Ginger can only get to the "first floor" of our cat house! Purrs from Ginger, Shadow and Ambrose, Tanzania

  6. Poor puppy, he has the most expressive face. Our dogs hate the rain. We have a dachsund who almost refuses to out side when it is cold. Which to her is abou 80 degrees. She has learned to wrap herself up in a blanket and that is where she'll be until June.

  7. It's better to stay in where it is cozy, dry and warm when raining.

  8. He does look content lying there - what a cutie! We had some snow so I'll go down in elevation for today's hike, it's sunny so it should be okay. I hope you and Sam are having a nice weekend despite your rain!

  9. Rain is pretty bad, Sam. When we have rain, Lindy always had to be rubbed real hard with a towel when she came in. Now she has her blue sweater, which wicks the wetness away from her, so only her head, tail, legs and feet need to be toweled.
Right now it is snowy and icy out. Lindy doesn't need much toweling, and she wears her boots for a walk, but when she comes in from the yard, her feet have to be checked carefully to make sure there's no snow or ice between her toes.

  10. That's how I am too, but our dog likes to go outside no matter what, as long as it's not thundering.

  11. I agree with your baby. As soon as the rains and winds leave I will go back outside. We are ready for Sandy's wrath to hit us tonight. 60mph winds. UGH!!! When I was out there my son was having to water because you all had had no rain. Guess that has changed. genie

  14. I hope it stops raining so Sam can get out. But he shouldn't complain too much -- we're being threatened with snow!
