  3. These pictures form a good metaphor as to Obama's reelection. They are wonderful, but carry the hint of winter and cold. Yet, the promise of spring is there, too, when things warm up and new life springs forth.

    I'm glad he won, but he's going to have a tough road for awhile unless the GOP decides maybe they can cooperate for a change. Mr. O, I think, has had enough of such, and we're going to see more movement toward rebuilding this country even without the anti-Obama bunch in Congress.

    To take the pictures of the chandelier from below I used the "put the camera on the floor and set the self timer" method - its a great way to take shots looking up - as long as there are not too many people walking about that is!
