Beautiful photos! I am amazed at how many wonderful quotes you can find, too. But the pictures are really wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe first shot is stunning!
ReplyDeleteLove the whimsical shot of the ducks bottoms! The colors are wonderful and I can just imagine them sitting there planning their day. :)
Both reflection are very cool, but I specially enjoy the one with the two ducks ignoring you... There is a little bit of insolence in the attitude of the birds, it makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteThat one duck seems to be giving you a side-glance. Wonder what it was thinking. As Socrates implied, the more you know, the more you know you don’t know, that is for sure. :)
ReplyDeleteGosh, was Socrates smart!! Lovely photos. Enjoy the weekend. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteThe double-double ducks make me smile! And your beautyful sunset is soooooo beautyful! And your banner is so funny!

I like your duck couple. What do you think they are talking about? Do they find the water too cold?
ReplyDeleteI like the ducks! And the quote by Caen. Reminds me of the time when I was in the 9th grade and "in luuuuve!"
ReplyDeleteMy parents and aunt and uncle were sitting around and someone said, "Every dog has its day; Lowell's having his while still a pup!"
I was quite chagrined. :-)
the ducks are standing there like an old couple. Cute! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections! I love the two ducks sitting on the log. Great header too.

Wonderful captures both, Sylvia, but I do love the one with ducks - it conjures up all sorts of imaginary "conversations" between the two of them....!!
