I hope all of you will hold good thoughts for Sam. Two days ago, a dog locked in a car parked in front of the complex where we live,  managed to jump into the the front seat and out the partially open window and attack Sam as we were going for our afternoon walk. It took three people, who just happened to be near the building at the time,  to pull the dog off Sam and put him back in the car. Sam is doing okay, but is still having some problems.  We have no idea what prompted the attack other than he is a very vicious dog and the owner had been forced to move out of the complex that day because of the dog.  Unfortunately, not soon enough to save Sam from the trauma.
