After my youngest sons marriage, my son, David and my daughter, Kerith, took me to the Japanese Garden here in Portland and it is an awesomely beautiful place!! I've shown a few of the pics that I took, but here are a few more!! Such a lovely part of my world!! Hope you enjoy!!

    I love that quote by Einstein and have it on my blog as well. It is not always easy to see the magic though … unless visiting places that have wonderful pathways and a waterfall.

    Beautiful photos and quotes as it just starts to feel like fall. And thank you for your concern, but we were not directly impacted by the floods. A foot of rain both north and south of us but we only had a few inches.

    I agree with you : these pictures show a fabulous world!
    Yesteday started with sunshine and therefore I lowered the sunshade, which was not a good idea for a couple of minutes later it started to rain. So I left the shade all night down to dry.Hopefully today it remains dry.
