Weekend Reflections



 
Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. 

My oldest son was here in Seattle to be the best man in his brother's wedding on Saturday and then on Sunday, his sister and I took him to the Japanese Gardens here in Portland! It was a great day -- particularly for me because I got lessons on the camera he gave me for Christmas!! Here are a couple of my shots for the day!! I think they're pretty cool for an old broad!!! I particularly love the lily blossoms!! But fish were lovely and colorful!

    Oh they ARE cool Sylvia! I love the water lilies, the white against the dark is stunning. The koi are pretty fish, did you feed them?

    I loved that garden when we were there, and I remember taking pictures of the koi. But I definitely could have used your son's lessons!! Your pictures are just great.
