Our World -- Winter at the Harbor

Still major blogging problems, so forgive the format???  These were taken several years ago in January in Seattle at my favorite place -- the harbor that was only a short drive from the house . I hope you enjoy a look back!!

I find myself reading this quote frequently these days!!!

Resolve to keep happy and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties.--Helen Keller

  1. I like that quote about resolving to be joyful. I had blogger problems at the start of the New Year and after trying to make it right in a zillion different ways it all got resolved on its own eventually. I confess I was NOT joyful throughout that experience. :)

  4. Really weird. Your blog kept shrinking and enlarging. I've never seen that happening before. I thought something was wrong with my brain or eyes at first. Sorry about all your blog problems, Sylvia. I'm hoping things fix themselves this week.

  20. A beautiful look back indeed, Sylvia - photos from your time in the Seattle area are always welcome. And what better person for that quote than Helen Keller? I recently read her autobiography on my Nook, it was an inspiring read.

I wonder if your formatting difficulties are related to the snowflakes you have drifting down? At least when I view your page, they make it change size horizontally, sometimes causing a scroll bar to appear and disappear...

  23. I love those mountain snow caps, if you're like me who hasn't experienced winter, these views are wonderful. I've seen snowcaps only in Turkey and once when our plane passed on top of Italy.

No sunburn as yet - it just means I can't stay out too long.

When snorkelling this evening after a 110+ degree day - wonderful!
