One Quiet Moment

How magnificent the city is by the June moonlight! — after the streets are empty and silent. ~Byron Caldwell Smith, letter to Kate Stephens

  1. Our streets are not empty and silent, but they are emptier and quieter since most of the snowbirds have flown north for the summer. Thank goodness. Every year it gets worse with more and more people and lots more cars. This pleasantness should last until about Oct 1 when all hell breaks loose again and lasts until mid-May! :)

  2. What a gorgeous sky. Our streets here quiet down very late at night. But when they do it can be very peaceful.
