Those streets are like parks. They are beautiful. I love the shadowing.

Hi Sylvia, Interesting to hear that you grew up in Texas and moved to the Pacific Northwest. Seems like I read about lots of folks doing that but sure don't hear about many going the opposite direction. :-) I do like Portland a lot. I think Seattle is moving, slowly, in the same direction regarding car traffic in downtown ... more lanes are getting converted to bicycle paths. You've got some nice pictures of the park there and good quotes to go with. I am curious why My World Tuesday starts on Mondays. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteHello Sylvia, you do live in a beautiful area. I love all the trees and greenery. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous part of the world. Happy Monday, have a great week ahead!
ReplyDeletenothing better than tree-lined streets and walkways. :)
ReplyDeleteAh, such a wonderful place and such beautiful photographs. I was thinking we need Rachel Carson back again to help us preserve the earth in the face of all those destroying it with their greed!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tree lined streets Sylvia. Have a good week.
