A Nightmare in Oregon

Sometimes I guess we all wonder – when does the violence, horror and death end???

We just had a mass killing in a college town not far from Portland – Medford, Oregon. Ten students killed and the killer was shot as well.

Today I only want to ask all of you to hold good thoughts for the parents who are suffering such a great loss.

Thank you.

Indeed will do Sylvia; the news came here last evening and it beggars belief that there are voices calling for increased arms use... I pray for the disease in society which thinks weapons cure ills...... YAM xx

  3. You and your fellow citizens have all the sympathy I can muster. Guns have never solved any problems.

  4. We are averaging 1 mass killing a day in the U.S. at the present time. Did you see Jeb Bush's response to this horrific event? "Stuff happens," he said.

  5. Thoughts and prayers are not enough, Obama said. I have to agree with him.

  6. These things are far too common. I had a good friend killed in a mass shooting back in the '90s. I'm very pessimistic for our future.

  9. I don't know what it is going to take to stop this craziness. It makes me sick. I just wish people would come together on the issue and try to find a solution instead of arguing about what is causing it.
