“Fall
has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its
last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.”
― Lauren DeStefano, Wither |
“I
would rather sit on a pumpkin, and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a
velvet cushion.”
― Henry David Thoreau |

ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful beach you've captured...It looks a little chilly, though, and I was surprised at all the people out and about!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a wonderful week!
We have had some spectacular sunsets, too, lately. I had to smile at the Thoreau quote … sitting on a pumpkin would look pretty funny. :)

ReplyDeleteI did enjoy them very much Sylvia, I always do :) you find the best quotes to go with your beautiful images.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be a nice project to follow that tree for a year!
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Your two captures of the water and the beach are so nice. All I can think is COLD WATER. The sky with its swooping clouds in the second one add to much to the overall capture.
ReplyDeleteA lovely series of images, Sylvia!
ReplyDelete`The spirits of the air live on the smells
ReplyDeleteOf fruit; and Joy, with pinions light, roves round
The gardens, or sits singing in the trees.'
Thus sang the jolly Autumn as he sat;
Then rose, girded himself, and o'er the bleak
Hills fled from our sight; but left his golden load.
William Blake
Thank you, Sylvia,
