We had a little over three inches of snow last night and while that's nothing compared to what's happening in New England, it's still a lot for us. I took these too early really, but I knew once the sun came out the snow would disappear quickly. And sure enough, the sun is out now. We're supposed to get more snow later today, but we'll see. In the meantime, it's lovely.
We used to live just above the snow line on Somerset Hill in Bellevue. The street ran straight downhill and ended at the main arterial. It was breathtaking, in more ways than one, to watch cars trying to negotiate it!
You have more snow than we do, Sylvia. Here in my neck of Western Massachusetts, we've been getting a lot of sleet and freezing rain. Trees are down, there are power outages and roads are still closed down to school buses in my school district. Crazy.
Beautiful photos, Sylvia. It is so nice to share someone else's world and also to get away from politics, economics, and all that is going on in our life.
Oh my how lovely this looks! The rains have FINALLY arrived here in Southern California and there's snow falling in the mountains around 3000 feet (which is pretty low for us so it will likely melt fast once the storm moves through and temperatures get back to normal) but it's nifty for now. Thanks for sharing ;--) Hugs and blessings,
I do so appreciate and enjoy your comments! Always wonderful to get feedback! The interaction with other bloggers has been one of the most rewarding things about blogging!
Snow is so beautiful - I prefer to look at it thru my window though.
ReplyDeleteIt really is pretty. Wish I were there and will be one of these days since Seattle is high on my list of places I want to visit.
ReplyDeleteMost people like snow, only those who take part in the traffic it's a nuisance. I think it's always so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYes, beautiful indeed! I'm looking forward to it, though if we get a big dump I'll be unemployed 'till Spring, and that's gonna be difficult to swing.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures look like what I'm seeing outside my window in Portland. Beautiful. I love these kind of days.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Sylvia! Does it snow often in Seattle? :)
