Wise old Indian reflects on Daylight Savings Time

"Only white man would believe you could cut off top off blanket, sew it to bottom of blanket, and have longer blanket."

    Beautiful irony.
I live in the Queensland/New South Wales border in Australia, and NSW is on daylight saving and Queensland is not. The hassles are incredible.
Families are divided between those who live in one time zone and the rest in the other. Tradesmen, solicitors et al must be licensed in both states - on and on and on.

  4. I like that. I wish they'd keep the same time all year. Now they change it for four months!

  5. What a great illustration! I have seen both sides of the hill also and one side is not necessarily greener than the other. Take care, Friend.

  7. Love it! I think I will print it and frame it.
    I HATE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!

I think we should all march on Washington and demand they do away with it.

  8. Hilarious and so TRUE.
I hate daylight savings time, especially when we have to 'lose' the hour of sleep.

  9. I so TOTALLY agree! I loathe and detest all the messing about with the clocks - animals need feeding and milking at the same time each day whatever the clocks say.
