Little Humor for the Evening

I've been pretty nice lately -- well, for me -- but had to share this one.

Men's Restroom Mural--------Read before looking at picture

Edge Designs is an all-women run company
That designs interior office space They had a
Recent opportunity to do an office project in
NYC..

The client allowed the women of this
Company a free hand in all design aspects.
The client was a company that was also
Run by all women execs.............

The result.........well.....We all know that!
Men never talk, never look at each other....
(I personally wouldn't know this you understand)
And never laugh much in the restroom....
The men's room is a serious and quiet place...
But now...with the addition of one mural
On the wall......lets just say the men's
Restroom is a place of laughter and smiles.

    I wonder if the guys are comfortable using the bathroom or if they go elsewhere. This has got to be unnerving.

    There is a reason why guys are quiet in the men's room. There's a paranoia about being hit up by a gay guy. I hate public restrooms for this reason. There is a reason why some restrooms have undercover police officers (most famously at the Minneapolis Airport).

    One example is that if there is only one bathroom stall being used, a guy will generally walk into the one furthest from the one being used. It's just an unspoken genetic code in guys. I had discussions about this in college, because I didn't realize other guys did the same thing I did. That's just the way it is.

    I'm sure that most guys would get a kick out of the urinal murals. However, what's up with the not having dividers between the urinals?

    The only problem I have with the restroom is there's no dividers. I've caught another guy checking out "my area" in a similiar setup. It's a creepy feeling. As far as the murals go, they're pretty funny.It's a very creative idea...

    I can definitely see the tongue-in-cheek handiwork of women in this. Men would not have been so conservative; which of course would have garnered an outrage by feminists.

    I don't know where Sansego is coming from with the gay paranoia theory. I've never thought about being hit on in a restroom. Now that I think about it, I'm not even sure why I felt the need to address such a whacked theory.

    Oh well...I actually like to see images on the wall of a restroom (not telephone numbers or amateur artists mind you), it breaks up the monotony of staring at a drab colored wall.

    I wouldn't find it unnerving or have performance anxiety at a urinal. People seem to get hung up on almost anything. Dividers?As long as a gent has a relatively good aim, I could care less; conversation doesn't bother me. In the restroom, I'm a bottom line kind of fella; I'm there to take a whizz but if I see something funny why not laugh as well?

    Easy for me to laugh because I don't have a wall full of men staring at me with my pants down...

    Terrific, wicked sense of humor! The expressions are classic! I never understood why men pee for all to see. What's up with that?

    It's not a "whacked theory" about being uneasy using the men's restroom. There have been several I've been to where such hanky panky went on and it is very uncomfortable. I'm not a homophobe, I just think people should get a room for stuff like that.
