Sky Watch Friday!

As usual, we had lots of beautiful skies in Seattle this past week and here are a few. The sunset shot was taken at the harbor and I caught the others from our deck. We do have a fabulous view of the skies!!

  31. Wow, such a nice view to the sky. I think the wind speed high up must be very high to blow the cloud into that shape, and beautiful sunset.

  39. Very lovely, Sylvia. My son was just telling me today about noctilucent clouds--luminous blue-white tendrils seen in the sky just after sunset. They are made of crystals of water ice and are being observed more frequently, with the theory being that the increase might be connected to climate change.
