Pet Pride

Sam is in a bad mood because our camping trip got canceled, so like the spoiled kid he is, he wasn't in the mood to participate today and I generously offered to take over because I know how important it is! He really is a spoiled pup!

Hee hee! I fixed Sam! Caught a shot of him "watering the grass" -- no wonder it's dying! Ha ha ha!

 

Here's Sam and Izzie, our neighbor, when she was a little tyke -- Sam's size last winter and we had snow! They didn't know what to think!

 

And here I am, snug and warm in my bed in front of the fire. Don't I just look adorable? A perfect color match for my bed!

 

I miss going camping too, although I'm not as bad a sport as Sam is! But here's one of the reasons why! I like a BIG stick to chase!

    Hilarious post! You do look adorable in front of that fire. My dog is very jealous as he too loves swimming with big sticks. And boy - is your stick HUGE!

    Sylvia, I loved these photos. I've spent a bit of time with Bertie going over that "watering the grass" one. Bertie, being such a young fellow, hardly differentiates between watering the grass and watering the carpet. Perhaps with this pictorial how-to as an example he might start getting the idea.

    What a hoot! Love the shot of the two little guys standing at such rapt attention! And that is waaaay more than "a stick". If you ever get that puppy (excuse the expression) on land, I don't think you'll be able to fetch!!

    Poor Sam - but we must leap in to defend him as we know for a fact that Schnauzers NEVER sulk and NEVER act spoiled. *stamps paw!* So THERE!

    When I was young Sylvia, we had dogs (one at a time) but I haven't had one since I grew up and got married...Your dogs are adorable! :)
