Click here to sign up!Sam is in a bad mood because our camping trip got canceled, so like the spoiled kid he is, he wasn't in the mood to participate today and I generously offered to take over because I know how important it is! He really is a spoiled pup!
Hee hee! I fixed Sam! Caught a shot of him "watering the grass" -- no wonder it's dying! Ha ha ha!
Here's Sam and Izzie, our neighbor, when she was a little tyke -- Sam's size last winter and we had snow! They didn't know what to think!
And here I am, snug and warm in my bed in front of the fire. Don't I just look adorable? A perfect color match for my bed!
I miss going camping too, although I'm not as bad a sport as Sam is! But here's one of the reasons why! I like a BIG stick to chase!

Hilarious post! You do look adorable in front of that fire. My dog is very jealous as he too loves swimming with big sticks. And boy - is your stick HUGE!
ReplyDeleteGreat Sunday entertainment!
ReplyDeleteSylvia, I want you to know that your blog is Inspirational to me especially your Evening, Beauty and Wisdom...
Here's to remind you of THAT feeling you have been given me since the day, I came to read yours.
Besides that, I have taken great pride and honour in linking yours to my Adage, Maxim and Quote.
Great story and wonderful series of photos!
ReplyDeleteSylvia, I loved these photos. I've spent a bit of time with Bertie going over that "watering the grass" one. Bertie, being such a young fellow, hardly differentiates between watering the grass and watering the carpet. Perhaps with this pictorial how-to as an example he might start getting the idea.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday! You've certainly given our Sunday a great start.
Oh what a great post. Oh and the photos are fantastic. What a life!!!
ReplyDeleteSay hello to Sylvia - something tells me she spells you rotten.
Lovely story
ReplyDeleteand beautiful pictures :)
Have a great sunday ...
Have fun Sam :)
I love the two dogs in the snow, what an adorable photo!
ReplyDeleteVery funny. Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week ahead.
What a hoot! Love the shot of the two little guys standing at such rapt attention! And that is waaaay more than "a stick". If you ever get that puppy (excuse the expression) on land, I don't think you'll be able to fetch!!
ReplyDeleteThat last one is hilarious, poor Sam.
ReplyDeletePoor Sam - but we must leap in to defend him as we know for a fact that Schnauzers NEVER sulk and NEVER act spoiled. *stamps paw!* So THERE!
ReplyDeleteHe he he! We loved this post - that last photo of you with the mega stick is amazing!
Cheer up Sam - you'll go camping another time!
Your Schnauzer buddies - JD and Max.
Snow in the winter, record breaking heat in the summer, and the cancellation of the trip. No wonder Sam is disgruntled.
ReplyDeleteOh schnauzers are my favorite! We've always had one in the family, they have the most loving personalities.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was young Sylvia, we had dogs (one at a time) but I haven't had one since I grew up and got married...Your dogs are adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the snow shot, they really are trying to figure it out!!
ReplyDeleteOh Sam it's not nice to sulk - hope you're over it now!
ReplyDeleteThat is a big stick!
ReplyDeleteGreat pix and story. :-)
oh you guys add so much color to Pet Pride proud to have you
