Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Kahlil Gibran

Doubt is a pain too lonely to know that faith is his twin brother.
Kahlil Gibran

Faith is a knowledge within the heart, beyond the reach of proof.
Kahlil Gibran

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.
Kahlil Gibran

You pray in your distress and in your need; would that you might also pray in the fullness of your joy and in your days of abundance.
Kahlil Gibran

Be curious, not judgmental.
Walt Whitman

  1. Let there be space but interconnectedness and celebration between all things and points of view. They are all related to each other.

Believe in your dreams but know they are at the same time fleeting and illusions of the mind. Honor them, but do not be swept away by them.

Faith is an absolute knowingness that creates the bonds and the world we each reflect upon.

What we see and experience is in direct relationship to what is buried and floating within the space of our mind.

Bring Light to All that you accept and enjoy as well as that which hides in the Shadows.

Everything in life is interesting and worth exploring. But beware of becoming lost in the illusion.

  3. It was again nice to be treated to Kahlil Gibran. I reread his biography like the last time you cited him. I found one more quote I enjoyed. "All our words are but crumbs that fall down from the feast of the mind ..." Btw. the pebble shot, like the other comment said, is truly exquisite.

  9. This is a good post. It gets us thinking about the possible side-effects of calatrin . Although calatrin is to be taken along with the normal diet, it might bring along side-effects which are unexpected. Studies show that the side-effects shown by calatrin are on the positive side. There have been no reports of harmful side-effects. So there is no need to worry.

  12. The first one, we have managed to follow a little too well! I wouldn't mind the shores being closer more often! :)

  13. It is hard NOT to be judgmental about what is going on in your last photograph! Before I enlarged it, I thought it was a nice cosy cove with people enjoying some unique privacy. Instead, It seems like it is the scene of a busy lumber concern - trees being cut down, strewn across the beach?

  14. No, it isn't a lumber concern, and the trees were not cut down -- they were blown down by winds and storms and wash up on the beach every year.
