Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

Those who can laugh without cause have either found the true meaning of happiness or have gone stark raving mad. ~Norm Papernick

What a wonderful life I've had! I only wish I'd realized it sooner. ~Colette

People often say that this or that person has not yet found himself. But the self is not something one finds, it is something one creates. ~Thomas Szasz,

You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself. ~Alan Alda

Never mind searching for who you are. Search for the person you aspire to be. ~Robert Brault,

If only we'd stop trying to be happy we could have a pretty good time. ~Edith Wharton

Late winter
of life,
Cloudy brain
plaques
fogging the brain;
I stand tall
and green
in the mist
In support
of those with
lost leaves....

Sometimes
I am alone,
sometimes
struggling with
others
on a woody slope
alzeimerishly....

A gust of wind
lifts the mist,
warm yellows
and browns of fall
decorating
the heights
of my mind....

And
the fence and lawn
resplendent
in shining dew,
appears familiar....

Memories flood back;
I am not alone.....

  5. Great sky! And that mountain scene is spectacular! Did you have to hike a strenious hike to get that view?

  7. Quilt Works, no that is the Going to the Sun Highway in Glacier National Park and it is a gorgeous drive. There are places to hike and climb, of course, but this is just a very famous road through the middle of the park!

  8. When one laughs unconditionally, they are vibrating in alignment to the higher self. One can hear one's personal chord being struck, and one laughs because they recongnize it as their truth. Truth can be funny when one recognizes themselves and remembers what they are. Its funny because of the fact that they forgot. Its a duh moment.

  9. That last photo with brush stroke like lines reminds me almost of an abstract painting.
