That's My World -- Spring in Seattle -- Well Almost

Time to show the special things about your world! My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and myself! Click on the icon, sign up and join the fun!

Spring is beginning to show up quite early this year due to our very, very mild winter -- so different from most places here in the states as well as Europe. So I've just been running around lately with camera in hand. A couple of these are from last spring, but we'll be seeing them soon!

A hush is over everything, Silent as women wait for love; The world is waiting for the spring.
Sara Teasdale

Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love!
Sitting Bull

Every spring is the only spring, a perpetual astonishment.
Ellis Peters

In the Spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours.
Mark Twain

Poor, dear, silly Spring, preparing her annual surprise!
Wallace Stevens

April hath put a spirit of youth in everything.
William Shakespeare

Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world.
Virgil A. Kraft

So much beauty everywhere you look! I do love spring! Welcome to My World!

  18. Spring has sprung with breath-taking beauty in your part of the world. Not so here yet. Gray skies, murky weather, yet it the temps are warming than usual for us this time of the year...which is why you don't really hear any of us around here complaining. Everything is melting and as long as we continue with the warm temps there is hope that we will soon be seeing something green peeking through the soil.

Thank you for sharing your spring!

  47. Just found your blog through anothers. Is the header Snoqualmie Falls?

I lived out there for 3 years. Hubby and I laughed when everyone said we must go to S. Falls because it was so big and beautiful. We went there and it was beautiful but big? Nope.
We thought big is Niagra Falls. But we assumed they had never seen that before. We kept it a secret that we were from an area near by N. Falls.and went a lot and we just agreed that this was beautiful.

    Thanks for the beautiful photo's.
