The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other 364 days of the year.
- Mark Twain
Spring would not be spring without bird songs. - Francis M. Chapman
Keep your faith in all beautiful things;
in the sun when it is hidden,
in the Spring when it is gone. - Roy R. Gilson
April's rare capricious loveliness. - Julia Dorr
So much to learn
from
nature's plans;
The straight,
makes
the curved
look curvier,
young sepals
in light green
against
the tough looking
dark branches;
A profusion
of white blossoms,
interrupted
just so,
by
stamens
dotted with black,
on a
background splash
of
a tentative green;
And the sky,
brilliant
in its blueness
behind a human
drab building
of the colorless type.
When will we learn,
that differences
unite us,
enriching the scene,
and all the colors
have a stake in each other....?

Poor, dear, silly Spring, preparing her annual surprise! - Wallace Stevens
I love spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in a garden.
