A Day of Remberance! Memorial Day! Holocaust!

To all of the men and women who have given their lives that we may continue to enjoy the freedom that we have in these United States. Let us take a moment out of our celebrating to remember who and why we celebrate.



And may we never forget the men and women who died in Vietnam -- a useless tragedy all it's own!

    Freedom isn't free. In fact, it is one of the most expensive privileges we have.

    Some of your boys came to NEw Zealand during WW2. My friends who are in their 80s tell me these boys were handsome, and very popular with the local girls. The American boys had chocolate and stockings. Our local boys were overseas.

    I've visited the Vietnam Memorial several times - it's a very moving experience and reminder of just how tragic that war really was. Thanks for helping us remember what the holiday is all about.

    Lest We Forget Sylvia, what a lot of Brave Souls here on Both sides of the Border did to allow us to keep our Freedom.

    Our Remembrance Day comes in November when Canadians remember our Fallen and our Veterans and Soldiers in Active Service.
