A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life. Charles Darwin |
| Any idiot can face a crisis - it's day to day living that wears you out. Anton Chekhov |
| Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact. William James |
Beautiful skies Sylvia! Did Darwin really say that? Good grief, I'd hate to have had to live with him ;>). I like the one that somebody said to the effect that if you enjoy the time you waste it isn't really wasted.
ReplyDeleteYes, very tedious of Darwin. I'm still trying to make my way through his Voyage of the Beagle.
ReplyDeleteI agree, however, with Chekhov. We seem to get adrenalin to get us through crises, but we can be completely exhausted by tedium.
Your photos are beautiful, as always. I hope you don't get tired of hearing that.

Beautiful skies today and the Darwin quote made me laugh.... I'm not wasting but just trying to figure out where to get more time (then I'll waste just a little)
ReplyDeleteBello questo cielo al tramonto !!!
ReplyDeleteBuona giornata Sylvia.
Myriam :))
Beautiful once again, Sylvia. I agree with Chekhov. I've managed to overcome and live-to-tell-the-tale after a crisis. But day to day problems do indeed wear one out. I'm trying to catch up on blog visits after a busy week. Thanks for visiting mine. Blessings and hugs Jo
ReplyDeleteAlthough your sunset pictures are gorgeous, I like that first picture. It looks as if a wave of clouds is lurking at the bottom of the photo just waiting to burst out and cover the sky.
ReplyDeleteYour evening skies are glorious. I enjoyed the quotes, too. Food for thought.
ReplyDeleteSylvia, I like very much your nice posts "Evening, Wisdom and Beauty"!
ReplyDeleteGorgeously glorious! Each and every one of them.
