That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?  I'm sure you all know what I'm going to say -- YES, It's still gray and grim and I'm once again prowling my photo files, looking for Spring! We do have one! You know when the ducks and geese are playing in the water, relaxing on the green grass and even Sam and Mojo get affectionate!! Yeah, that's Spring!  I just don't know when it plans to put in an appearance!

Chaotic action is preferable to orderly inaction.

This country has come to feel the same when Congress is in session as when the baby gets hold of a hammer.

Things seem to be "just ducky" in several of your photos here!
Once again, Will Roger's prescience is shown by his comments about Congress...

  4. Wow, that first photo of the dogwood (I think its dogwood, or maybe a bradford pear or something) got me feeling the first like its April again and all warm and nice. I'm going to need that warm nice feeling as we are expecting lots of snow, ice, high winds, and cold this weekend.

I hope everything is going well for you!

ps - Just keep on quoting Will Rogers as long as you want. I never get tired of either him or Mark Twain.

  10. All these visions of spring make me think it IS just around the corner, Sylvia. If I’m not mistaken, the snowflakes have transformed into pick blossoms falling into your wonderful scenes … melting into a sea of sailboats. Thanks for this inspiring look at what’s to come!

  12. Spring will come! Our daughter was here -- she's visiting her grandkids in SC for a month and they came down here to Florida. She said she misses her husband but wants to take some of our weather home with her.

  13. Oh, spring! It is a long way off here. In Alberta, nobody plants anything until May 24, but our big old ornamental crabapple usually blossoms before that. A few days or a week before that. LOL
I love the picture of Mojo and Sam.
