MicroFiction Monday

Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on the link under the title to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215.

This meme is easy and it's fun! Thanks, Susan for hosting.

And here's the picture for the day!

No one big enough and smelly enough to wear these here in
Fairyland! But my magic beans will make it smell heavenly. Voila! my new bed!!

And from Mumbai! A real winner today, that's for sure!!!

I hear Palin's coming to India. Must do something. She jogs in the garden. This stickfast glue ball I'm dropping in should work. Betcha.

  1. Wonderful Sylvia, so far we are all thinking Odor Eaters of some sort.

  2. Great idea Sylvia like usual.
I never thought of the shoe as a bed!
    Really perfect take.
Have a great week my friend!

  3. sylvia,
Being the golfer, it appears like a golf shoe to me and she is placing a golf ball inside the shoe; perhaps for someone to notice?

  4. Hooray for those magic beans! Good one, Sylvia. Hope you have a great week.

  5. Now that's using her head. She'll have to shrink herself to fit in that shoe-as-bed. Clever caption, Sylvia. Jerry used the stinky shoe idea, too.

  6. Very good, Sylvia. I haven't been able to participate for a few weeks because I'm experiencing micro-block. Like writer's block, only smaller. Maybe this fairy can help me.

  25. Both are most amusing pieces, Sylvia! You always have a unique twist on the prompts, and your Mumbai friend's header is especially gorgeous this time...

  26. Loved them both. First one was my fav though :O)

  27. I think your friend in Mumbai is trying to singlehandedly drag North America into Spring. I'm in, how about you?

The fairy has a decorating talent that surpasses her surroundings. Perhaps HGTV - Fairy Version?

  28. I wonder if Susan expected us to all think about smelly feet this week? LOL...loved your mm--I hope the fairy is 'bendable' though, as the shoe looks a bit short for her to stretch out in...hmmm...maybe if she could remove her wings at night it would help.
    Have a great week. Cheers~

  29. Many foot odor problems today! Wonder if that indicates something personal--nothing a magic bean can't cure!

    :)

  30. I don't care what's in the beans, I wouldn't be crawling into that thing. lol Good one.

  32. Hi Sylvia, I tried to write a comment, but I don't think it went through... I'll try again. I like looking at those spring-like photos, but the snowy ones are magical, too. You're lucky to have both the snow-capped peaks and the beach near your home. I really like your new Header. Stay warm (the gull, too)!

  33. Cute one! I always knew that fairies slept in shoes! I must have read that somewhere.
