Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!  We've had sun for two days and I'm afraid to look at the weather report for the next two!! My problem now is not having a car anymore, therefore most of the stuff around the house you've seen, but we change a few things, add a few things .....  So, wishing you all a very Happy Valentine's Day -- tomorrow!!

  7. Nicely done as always, Sylvia. My favorite is the upper-left one - somehow the plant shadow looks tropical to me, even though I know it's not. Have a wonderful weekend!

  14. Okay - there is a slight problem and I not real sure where the problem lies. One of us doesn't know what day it is. I woke and thought it was Saturday but now I see it is Shadow Sunday and that means I missed Church again. Oh...bother. :-) Sorry! sometimes I think I am funny. But, I guess I should know better by now becuause my kids have told many times, "Dad you are not funny! You are the only one laughting."

  20. I thought of you yesterday while shopping at Jo-Ann's. They had some colorful vases and plates, should I get some? No, I'll leave those shadows for Sylvia and find my own unique type of shadow.

  23. Sylvia,
very pretty...the colored glass is most stunning. It reminded me of the red window in my Grandmother's house 'yes, Sylvia's' The window was located upstairs and when the sun shone through it was spectacular! In addition, there was a red velvet chair beneath it :)
Thanks for making me smile with the memory from your photos!
    Have a great weekend!

    A SEEKER OF SHADOWS

A seeker of shadows one day
Asked shadows to come out and play:
    “O shadows, my dears,
    Despite all my fears,
I hope you will not run away.”
