That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?

A very Happy July 4th to all of you here in the states and a very happy weekend to all of you everywhere! Last week we took a trip to an extremely interesting place with an interesting history and I'm including a link for you to read more about it if you like. http://www.countryvillagebothell.com/historicalinformation/ I had great fun as always taking pictures of this very different shopping mall. I also had the most fantastic lunch I've had in ages at a delightful English Tea Room!
Hope you enjoy!

  2. How nice that they find such a pleasing variety of places to take you and your fellow residents. Photo ops for you and shopping for those so inclined.

  3. That last quote certainly seems to have a ring of truth, Sylvia. Motivation and growth doesn’t flourish quite so profoundly as when dissatisfied it seems. The hopscotch kids at your header are delightfully drawn. Good work, artists!:)

  6. That looks like a nice place to visit. Great quotes as always except I'll disagree with Lamour. There is nothing wrong trying to b content. But I don't think that is what he was getting at.

  7. This is a fascinating mall -- I've never seen anything like it. You certainly got some great photos, which to my mind beats shopping any day. I hope you had a great weekend and a happy Fourth.

  10. That looks like a lovely place, Sylvia, and I love your shots. A very tired Socks (who hiked 6 miles with me yesterday) says hello to Sam, and so do I. He looks very content in your post below.

  27. Looks like a nice place to visit - even though it's a shopping mall. They really made it different. I'd like to sit for a while in that gazebo.

  30. Hi there - Happy 4th July!

I do find it interesting that your 4th July post contains glowing praise of an "English Tea Room" - I would have thought that was the last place you'd go! Unless of course you just want to tease the Brits about history!

  33. The shopping mall looks designed so nice. I’d like to have the same fantastic lunch you had at a English Tea Room.

I’m happy for the friendship between your country and mine. We are so grateful to warm and dependable aid from America on that devastating earthquake and tsunami. You must be proud of it. Happy American Independence Day from me, too.
