Time to share your skies, the beauty over your world, the clouds, the colors! Sky Watch is hosted each week by the Sky Watch team of Sandy, Wren and me. And this week as every week, we remember Klaus and know that he joins us in spirit! Join us and the many people from all over the world who share theirs with us each week!
Our weather has been pretty gray and gloomy, but last Saturday I happened to look out the window a little before sunset and saw such incredible skies I had to rub my eyes to make sure I wasn't seeing things! The gray had turned into the most amazing colors I've ever seen! I grabbed my camera and went to the roof and these are three of the shots that I got. It lasted about a half hour and then completely disappeared and the gray returned. No retouching, this is just the way they came out of the camera! Hope you like them!
Forgive my upside down posting -- it's Blogger doing its thing again????? This was my seventh try!

ReplyDeleteWow, killer skies Sylvia.
ReplyDeleteI hope that everything is going well.
What a fantastic color under your clouds! We have seen your snow (and the slipping and sliding) on the news. It does make life difficult when people are not used to the snow. We have had very little so far, just temps bouncing from teens to fifties.
ReplyDeleteWOW! these are unbelievable. Great work! A very rare moment.
ReplyDelete"rub my eyes"....nice, but I would have put on my sun glasses because of the blazing fierce colors in the sky. How lucky to have this window view!

Anne Bradstreet is correct. when I was growing up in tropical Borneo, we dream of snow everyday.

Hi Sylvia, now I'm left with these skies orange with the words I already knew and that I love "If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so well received. Anne Bradstreet "-
