Oh, boy … Hugh Sidey is not kidding with that quote about having a sense of humor. Not forgetting to make use of our senses of humor can help us survive the rough times. And laughter is the greatest free medicine!

ReplyDeleteI think that it helps a person to be an environment like what you've pictured in this collage. Mr. Sidey is right, I'm sure, but if you're living in an inner-city ghetto with no hope to get out in sight, it's hard to maintain a sense of humor and joy in one's heart. The amazing thing is that some folks do.
