Gorgeous skies and quotes, Sylvia. It hasn't gotten cold here yet, we're still waiting for any real bad weather - my photo was from years ago! How does Sam handle the Seattle winter? Socks doesn't mind it until it gets below about 10 degrees, then he would rather stay inside because his feet can't stay down too long. (Pomeranians are originally descended from Scandinavian sled dogs!)
Some good stuff here, Sylvia! Hugo was right about light and that's the essence of photography! As to meditating on the past, well, I try to avoid too much of it but then some of it was quite wonderful and so meditation on the past can bring back wonderful memories. Fortunately, I can block out lots of bad memories! :-)
I do so appreciate and enjoy your comments! Always wonderful to get feedback! The interaction with other bloggers has been one of the most rewarding things about blogging!
Sylvia, your skies, and particularly that last evening shot, are mesmerizing. The wispy branches look like fine lace.

Avoid too lengthy meditation on the past. what does this mean, dwelling on it?
