  4. You would think that with all the wise words uttered by so many smart people in our world we would be living in Utopia by now. I like what Benjamin Franklin had to say. Seems it would apply not only to countries but also to every neighborhood. :)

Love the photos especially the last two... The snow on evergreens is always a favorite of mine.

  17. What a superb series of photos...those floral pics are breathtaking. What fantastic colors!

I like the quote about eating. So true. People keep telling me I need more "will power" to lose weight. I tell them, "I've got tons of will power. What I don't have is 'won't' power!"

  20. Sylvia....You have given us a wonderful year of beautiful photos of the Pacific northwest and so many meaningful quotes. Love the picture of Mr. Ranier, you porch with the snow on it, and the two pictures of the flowers. I am dying to know where those were taken. I also need to say KUDOS to your dear friend in Mumbai for all of her clever and hilarious banners for your blog. They always make my day. She is such a talented artist as you are a photographer. Here is wishing you a new year filled with happiness, good health, and lots of time for more beautiful picture taking...and keep those great quotes coming. genie
