Kids, Animals and Humor -- All for your Wednesday!!

Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else.
-- Margaret Mead

By the time you're eighty years old you've learned everything. You only have to remember it.
-- George Burns
 Believe me!! It's true!!!
We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in  public.
This is from a list of
PARAPROSDOKIANS? From a friend who sends me such goodies!!!
 Here is the definition:

"Figure of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or  unexpected; frequently used in a humorous situation." "Where there's a will, I  want to be in it," is a type of paraprosdokian.

I don't understand why Cupid was chosen to represent Valentine's Day. When I think about romance, the last thing on my mind is a short, chubby toddler coming at me with a weapon.

  2. These are all adorable, but I agree with Theresa ... the chicken assiting the photographer is a classic. If I make it to 80 (and it isn't that far off) I hope I am still learning things ... I know I don't remember, but the learning process is the fun part:) Great post, Sylvia ...

  3. These are all great, Sylvia. The first picture reminded me that our daughter who teaches elementary kids in south Florida brought several of her goats to school for an end-of-year hands-on experience. Their little young goats and the kids loved them. So did the principal, who is kind of an old bag! Great fun.

    Have a super evening!
