OH!~ I really like the Sam Keen quote. Isn't it delightful to feel lazy yet not feel guilty?

ReplyDeleteThe clouds are a landscape all their own! YAM xx
all are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHello Sylvia, enjoy your great weather, it is much better than rain right? Your skies are beautiful, pretty white puffy clouds. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeletePretty rolls of cloud shapes. The second photo looks like mountains on the move.
ReplyDeleteMagnificent sky shots ~ love the clouds and all ~
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend to you,
artmusedog and carol
I'm loving those billowy clouds!
ReplyDeleteExactly the type of cloudscape I would associate with summer.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Sylvia - I can't believe how hot it is in your part of the world. Summer never seems to make me suffer, but I've never lived anywhere really hot. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI dunno, Sylvia ... it's been raining here day and night (almost) for a couple of weeks I don't think it's going to let up for awhile. Is that like Portland?
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, and I really like that last quote!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! That's some hot weather you are having at the moment! Know what you mean about blue skies. Have a great week-end, keep cool!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoying each sky shot.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, Sylvia.

Here we have had nothing but rain and grey - so enjoy your blue skies! Your fluffy clouds are lovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! It has started raining here, quite a relief now.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post. I am such a fan of William Carlos Williams and his simple words that get lodged in your mind. I have never EVER seen a plum without thinking of "This is Just to Say" which I probably first read in high school over 50 years ago:
ReplyDeleteThis is Just to Say
I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox
and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast
Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold
Beautiful skies!
ReplyDeleteWonderful sky shots, Sylvia, they are all much more interesting then clear blue sky. But for the rest some clear blue skies would be welcome here too after a very wet and stormy week.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll have a great weekend!
It is so true ... Plain blue sky makes almost as boring a picture as plain gray. We need those clouds ))). And some slightly cooler weather, I totally agree. With archives like yours though, you always have something wonderful to make us smile! Thanks for that and for hosting, as always!
ReplyDeleteI just love the different cloud formations you have captured!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the first one. I love the soft colors behind that dark cloud :)
