Happy Birthday, My Beautfiul Daughter!!

A happy day for me to remember that chilly winter day in Dallas, Texas!!  My husband was in the military and stationed on a battlefront and I was headed to the hospital to have our first child! We were blessed when she was born healthy and beautiful and she still is!!

So, when I sat down at my desk this morning I wanted to focus on the beauty of that day and not the sad things that have happened over the years. Her father died five years ago, she lives on the east coast so we don’t get to visit as often as we would like, but the beauty of having her a part of our family – with a younger sister and two brothers is worth all the celebrating that we can manage even though we’re spread all over the country now!!

But there is beauty that we can share every time  we are able to get together and we do and we will again soon!! These are the fun things, the lovely things that we can and will focus on!!
