"Cold" is a relative term. I think it's freezing cold here this morning at 52 degrees. I prefer summer warmth and having lived in the south for many years, I need not the winter to appreciate the warmth. So, Steinbeck is full of it, methinks. Heh, heh! Wishing you a wonderful week!
Right now the cold of winter sounds so very appealing :) I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your family and new grandchild Sylvia.. it was pretty fantastic to have my sweet wee granddaughter staying with us, even though she did wake up at the crack of dawn every day and want to play :) Here's wishing you all the very best for the new year xox
First let me say that I cannot believe that I am 76 years old and have never read Steinbeck. I probably should keep that one a secret, but I’ve never been a secret keeper. And now to your photograph. How peaceful and serene. The coloration is heavenly. Your part of the world is “out of this world” in my book.
I do so appreciate and enjoy your comments! Always wonderful to get feedback! The interaction with other bloggers has been one of the most rewarding things about blogging!
Sylvia,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Steinbeck - but winter is about my favorite time of the year - but when it gets long, I long for summer.

ReplyDeleteI could debate that one, Sylvia.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo but I'm going to disagree with Steinbeck's quote. I don't like being cold!! I like being warm.
ReplyDeleteTake care Sylvia!
Great pic, very well captured.
ReplyDeleteThis quote and the ones in the post above are just great and almost make me wish for snow. Almost!
