Our World

A new year and a new look to my neighborhood!
IT SNOWED!!!
And while we do see snow now and then, it’s not the usual thing even in January!!
But I do love snow as long as it doesn’t hang around for TOO long!! I’m pretty sure this won’t last more than another day or so, but of course, I could be wrong – it is the weather and not always predictable!!
I couldn’t get out much further than my front porch, but I did want to share a little wintry look for Portland and My World for the day! So, I hope you will forgive the poor quality of the pics!!

I hope all of you have had a wonderful holiday season  and that you’re ready for a new year!!

  1. That sure ain't Ocala you've pictured here. I told Lois the other day I would like to see some snow. For about an hour. It's cold here this morning - 43 degrees. Brrrr...

Hope you're off to a great week!

  16. Hello Sylvia! I like to look at the snow, it is very pretty. But, I would not mind not having any snow this winter. Enjoy and have a happy week!

  17. I'm glad you didn't venture far off your porch ....that stuff can be treacherous. And your pictures are great and much appreciated. Kids told me about the Eugene snow, but nobody sent a picture. ( I don't think they had this much, at least when we talked) .... I hope you stay warm and cozy and safe. Thanks for hosting.
