A
new year and a new look to my neighborhood!
IT
SNOWED!!!
And
while we do see snow now and then, it’s not the usual thing even in January!!
But
I do love snow as long as it doesn’t hang around for TOO long!! I’m pretty sure
this won’t last more than another day or so, but of course, I could be wrong –
it is the weather and not always predictable!!
I
couldn’t get out much further than my front porch, but I did want to share a little
wintry look for Portland and My World for the day! So, I hope you will forgive the poor quality of the pics!!
I
hope all of you have had a wonderful holiday season and that you’re ready for a new year!!

That sure ain't Ocala you've pictured here. I told Lois the other day I would like to see some snow. For about an hour. It's cold here this morning - 43 degrees. Brrrr...
ReplyDeleteHope you're off to a great week!
Hello Sylvia, compliments of the season to you! Oh wow, how I would love to walk barefoot in that snow! We're very hot and dry here. May you have health and happiness in 2016. Greetings Jo

ReplyDeleteVery nice snow pictures, Sylvia!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and yours!
Greetings from Turin!
pretty awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love snow Sylvia. We got our first snowfall on the weekend. Really late for my part of Canada. Hope your New Year is filled with happiness Sylvia.
ReplyDeleteYour snow pics are beautiful but I am glad I don't have to live with it all around me. Beat wishes for the new year to you!
ReplyDeleteIt is magical isn't it. That first fall of snow wraps you in a blanket of silence.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty - I love snow. Hopefully you'll see just the right amount this winter!
ReplyDeleteYou may have more snow than we have here north of Toronto. :))
ReplyDeleteLovely snow scenes photos ~ Glad it there and not here in MA
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy week ~ ^_^
I have to say I am enjoying the snow and looking forward to more. Happy New Year :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sylvia, Wow, you found the perfect quotes to go with those pictures. :-) Stay warm and take care!
ReplyDeleteThis is too much snow. I hope it doesn't last long. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteNow get out the skis, Sylvia!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are happy with the snow!! Take care. So unlike the weather we are having.
ReplyDeleteHello Sylvia! I like to look at the snow, it is very pretty. But, I would not mind not having any snow this winter. Enjoy and have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you didn't venture far off your porch ....that stuff can be treacherous. And your pictures are great and much appreciated. Kids told me about the Eugene snow, but nobody sent a picture. ( I don't think they had this much, at least when we talked) .... I hope you stay warm and cozy and safe. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteA magical event for sure Sylvia and as Angie said couldn't possible be any more different from ours :) You take care in that cold slippery weather.
ReplyDeleteSnow at last - how lovely!
