    yay. i am first. i adore the sky shots but the fourth pic captured the clearness and serenity of a waterscape. great job.

    I'm always saving stuff for a special occasion, and then they break or get mouldy. Thanks for reminding me to stop doing that.

    Joan Baez? America's most underrated singer. Not fashionable for the last 40 years, but, boy, can she sing. And stands for something, too.

    Beautiful images and sayings, especially the Japanese proverb. Your world last winter was beautifully white! We have been busy with company for Thanksgiving and more coming the weekend before Christmas, so my posting and commenting has slacked off.

    I love John Greenleaf Whittier. He lived in Amesbury, MA which is quite close to where I live now.
    The foam on the rocks looks like a cameo.
