Walk with me by the water, worth the read... A BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE ABOUT GROWING OLDER: Shit... I forgot the words.... Oh, well, how about this! The reason Politicians try so hard to get re-elected is that they would 'hate' to have to make a living under the laws they've passed. And ...... Smith climbs to the top of Mt. Sinai to get close enough to talk to God. Looking up, he asks the Lord... 'God, what does a million years mean to you?' The Lord replies, 'A minute.' Smith asks, 'And what does a million dollars mean to you?' The Lord replies, 'A penny.' 'Smith asks, 'Can I have a penny?' 'The Lord replies, 'In a minute.' Enjoy your day! |

A New Priest in Texas A new priest, born and raised in Texas, comes to serve in a city parish and is nervous about hearing confessions, so he asks the older priest to sit in on his sessions. The new priest hears a couple of confessions, then the old priest asks him to step out of the confessional for a few suggestions. The old priest suggests, "Cross your arms over your chest, and rub your chin with one hand and try saying things like 'yes, I see,' and 'yes, go on,' and 'I understand.' The new priest crosses his arms, rubs his chin with one hand and repeats all the suggested remarks to the old priest. The old priest says, "Now, don't you think that's a little better than slapping your knee and saying, "No shit, what happened next?" |

The older I get, the quicker the time flies -- not complaining mind you, flying time is better than the alternative of "no more time"! And after the anniversary of 9/ll yesterday, it was easy to find the wonders of my part of Our World!! We have such beautiful beaches and mountains, wonderful parks where you can walk, run or just absorb the beauty! And we have some of the most interesting malls! This one doesn't look like a mall at all! I mean, how many of you come face to face with a large, cocky rooster like this guy on any of your shopping trips??? And, of course, there's Mt. Rainier, mysteriously wrapped in clouds! May your week be a wonderful one with lots of love and laughter and beauty! |
