Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

If you wish to travel far and fast, travel light. Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, selfishness, and fears.  Glenn Clark

Happiness is not a station you arrive at, but a manner of traveling.    Margaret B. Runbeck

Dreams are renewable. No matter what our age or condition, there are still untapped possibilities within us and new beauty waiting to be born.

What a gorgeous sunset, Sylvia. There's definitely evening, wisdom, and beauty here.

Socks is not a big fan of the snow, although once in a while he'll romp in it. Luckily with the very localized weather here, I was able to drive a few miles south (and 1,000 feet lower in elevation) and take him for a 3-mile hike with absolutely no snow on the ground this afternoon. And I got some photos there, too!

Your skies appear to be on fire again. They are awesome. What a treat for the eyes to see them in person rather than on the computer screen. Love your quotes. You are definitely the best at finding meaningful one. Hope you have a happy week ahead file with lots of picture taking. genie

Stunning captures, Sylvia! We're not getting sunsets like these just yet. As always, your quotes are such good food for thought. Have a wonderful week!

Love the quote from Margaret Runbeck -- that's our philosophy, said a different/better way. Pictures are as stunning as ever.

Oh wow! Sylvia, these photos are just so breath-taking. I wish I could be there to see this myself.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
