Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty.

Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower.
-- Albert Camus

I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house. So I spend almost all the daylight hours in the open air.
-- Nathaniel Hawthorne

Hi Sylvia. I have no idea why you can't add your post to the linky.

I added your post again. I had to do the same thing for Malyss a few years ago and then suddenly after a few weeks she was able to add her own link. It's very strange and disappointing. I hope the glitch whatever it is gets worked out soon.

Fingers crossed.

On a more positive note I love your photos and the quotes!

Hey Sylvia - more stunners! I'm with Mr Hawthorne - autumn light has something just that bit special.

Thanks for dropping by my place; am a bit absent at the moment due to immanent intercontinental shift. You can read why at this post. Be assured though, I am watching!!! Hugs, YAM xx

I just love this week presentation of your pics : "domestic" water, with the pool, VS "savage" water with the waterfall... Lovely choice for the day !

Boy, have I missed you these last 4 months. Thanks goodness I broke down and bought the new computer. Love that pool. Reminds me of our home in Asheville. Now it is the creek...that is the best I can do...but it is a LOT easier. Lovely reflections. Hope you are well. genie

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
