A Little Humor for the Weekend and a Lot of Beauty!!

Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by
imbeciles who really mean it.

Sylvia, Such a beautiful fall scene. I'd like to be driving down that road enjoying the lovely colors and the peacefulness. Thanks for sharing. Have a terrific weekend. Mickie ;)

What a beautiful photo, Sylvia. And I think the world is being run by both types of people. I hope you're having a great weekend!

Sylvia, that is a gorgeous, warm autumn photograph. Almost worth being up north for it, but not quite.

Such autumnal splendour is a balm for my eyes. I do love fall so very much.
Unfortunately Mark Twain's quip is no laughing matter, I often wonder what goes on in the partial vacuum in the heads of politicians.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
