Shadow Shot Sunday!

We actually had sun here yesterday! and again I was running around like crazy looking for shadows! I suspect the neighbors are seriously considering having me committed! The only thing dramatic here is the fact that the sun was actually shining! Oh, surely, spring can't be too far away???

Why did the tree-shadow cross the road?
(I'm still trying to think of a punchline)

Thank you for sharing all the sunshine in these: we had a chilly gray day today so I *loved* them!

The shadow idea is great. I scrolled down as suggested but couldn't find your Mr Linky so I give my link here.

I'm glad I've found this spot.

I'm so pleased for you that spring has arrived, and what lovely shots you have produced to prove it.

So ... why did the tree-shadow cross the road?

To leaf behind the winter.

This is my first exposure (pun intended) to Shadow Shot Sunday -- I like the idea. I can see how one can get pretty creative with this. After all, shadows are something we pretty well train ourselves not to see.

I think it's amazing that you have GREEN grass already.

I'm having fun imagining the neighbours watching you out with your camera. You have the last laugh because you found some fun shadow shots. ;-)

EG, the amazing thing is that our grass is green all winter -- looks really strange peeking out from under all the snow we had this year!

The first photo is really interesting. That shade of green is a particular favorite of mine.

Hi Sylvia, these are great shadow shots.

Looks like you found plenty of shadows. I particularly like the first one with the soft green on the wall and the shadows against it.

I never realized how interesting shadows could be. Really kept my attention trying to see every little detail.

I was so excited to have sun today as well! It is SO much easier to find shadows that way.. isn't it funny how that works! :)

Really nice shadow assortment. Did you save any for the next week if it's cloudy all week? I also loved the sunshine yesterday and envy that you raced around in it. Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!

A lovely assortment of shadows you captured. Looks like spring has well and truly arrived. We've just finished with spring over here, so we figured it's your turn for some sunshine & warmth ;) Enjoy!

I know what you mean about getting all excited about the sun coming out. It's a bag treat here, too.

That top photo is great. The colors are beautiful, and I love the composition. I enjoyed seeing all your shadows!

How wonderful to get some sunshine in time to seek out shadows for today's post. I think the last one is my favorite at the moment anyway. My neighbors laugh at me when I'm taking photos of odd stuph too ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

Your good collection of shadows, Sylvia, proves we do get sunny around these parts....sometimes. Actually lately we've had sunshine most days, but it's pretty much a cat and mouse game every day.

There you are yearning for some sun and here we are getting scorched and roasted by the sun (The day's max temp already at 39 deg C and it's only March beginning)!!!
