Evening Words, Wisdom and Beauty

Your friend is your needs answered.
Kahlil Gibran

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.
Kahlil Gibran

Each friend represents a world in us, a world not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.

I just love your choice of poems, they seem to answer just what my mind needs at the time. So appropriate for National Poetry month too

That sunset was just beautiful.

Anais Nin made some good worlds. That stone pic is really excellent. I almost feel that it was there waiting for me. Softly caressed by the slow moving water.

Amazing snaps.

I am curios about the last snap of pebbles in water. How did you manage to take such a nice photo

Rajesh, I'm glad you like the photo and I wish I could tell that I had taken it, but it was sent to me by a good friend and I thought it was so lovely I wanted to share it.

Every new positive friend or any new energy or idea or energizing concept taken to heart within our lives at any given moment will shift our frequency of vibration boosting us into a new orbit of experience and understanding.

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
