Happy Valentine's Day on Pet Pride!!

I don't understand why Cupid was chosen to represent Valentine's Day. When I think about romance, the last thing on my mind is a short, chubby toddler coming at me with a weapon. ~Author Unknown

So where are our Valentines if this is such big day????

Here it is guys, just for you!!

Well, that's a little better, but I still don't see what all the hoohah is about! We'd still rather go play with Bozo, so if you guys out there feel the same way, get your human to click on The Man's picture and we'll all celebrate this sissy day in our own way!!

I think a dog on the bed might ruin any romantic feelings!

When I said the first quote cracks me up, I was referring to this post! LOL... Not the one below... Great pics of your canine friends.

Have a love-filled day!

The short, chubby toddler with a weapon is a little scary and not very romantic when you think about it.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi Sylvia, lovely post. The first quote is always my thoughts on Cupid. A baby in a nappy pointing an arrow at me. romantic? Nah... Thanks for a smile and photos of your lovely pups. (((Hugs))) Jo

Perhaps the chubby warmongering toddler is a timely warning of what might follow if people get too carried away;-)
Sam and Mojo - you don't need Valentine cards to remind you you're much loved. 'Sissy Day' - I like it!!

I love it. I forgot the Valentines for our critters. How thoughtless of me.

Delightful post in all respects. Love the opening quote and your fur-kids always make for wonderful photos. Thanks for the Dear Abby chuckles too. Hope you enjoyed your Valentine's Day ;-)

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
