Goodbye to a Dear Friend

My great blogging friend, Bobbie of Almost There, died on Saturday. I will miss her.
She was passionate about so many of the same things that I am. She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother and friend and she will be missed. The good thing is that she is now with the love of her life, her husband Ralph, who I know was waiting for her with arms outstretched -- together again and this time for always.

I am so sorry to read about the loss of your friend. For her there is rejoicing, for those left behind there is sadness. My heart and prayers go out to her loved ones, family and friends alike.

Hi Irene
è sempre un grande dolore quando si perde un amico... ma ciò che ci può forse aiutare è il grande tesoro di ricordi che abbiamo potuto condividere con lui.
Un abbraccio e tutto il mio pensiero alla sua famiglia.

Oh, I'm so sorry about your friend. But, like you, whenever a loved one has died whose spouse has gone before them, I always think about their glorious reunion in heaven, and it brings me comfort! Hope this did the same for you! I bet she's just GLOWING right now!!

I didn't visit Bobbie often - I can only spend so much time on the web, but I often came across her comments and she seemed a special lady. I read about her passing from Dianne. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Beautiful post for a beautiful person. I love your new header. Bobbie would have had a nice comment about it. ;-)

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
