Dancing the Tango!

San Francisco skyline, sunset and the tango!
One of the four greatest joys of my life -- my youngest daughter. I loved dancing the tango, too, but I was never this good!

WOW!!! Your daughter is amazing. She's beautiful, and she has such long, graceful lines in her dancing. What a great way to spend your time... dancing. sigh And what a perfect spot to dance the tango!! Is that her hubby? dance partner? instructor? local chimney sweep?

Such great pictures! You've spoken of dancing the tango before. I'm glad you have such a love for this. I have a friend who just loves to dance, and you can hear the joy in her voice when she just speaks of it.

Amazing dancing and photos. Your daughter is delightful. I loved dancing the tano in my younger days too, but not like this.

Great Photos. I'm not much of a dancer myself but I love to watch good dancers like your daughter.

One of my unfulfilled desires was to dance the tango. I could barely walk in high heels, much less dance in them so I would probably have bombed. I do love watching the dance, though. It is so graceful and sensual.

I agree with all of the above. Your daughter is beautiful and an outstanding dancer.

Beeeautiful Sylia. Thank you ;)

I'm just trying to imagine doing a post on doing the tango ... I mean, it's logical, right? Indian village, Ganges River, tango....?

What wonderful pictures! She looks beautiful!

Remember the tango scene in Some Like It Hot?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beAO7zrZL3A

It starts at 1:00 and cuts and back and forth with the love scene with Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe.

Lin, did you tango with a rose in your teeth? ;)

What gorgeous photos. Your daughter is beautiful, so graceful. I never got good at the tango but did it and the samba back in my younger years. Not good enough to be like this but enough experience to know the power of that dance between a man and a woman. The photos say it all

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
